Festival of trees lufkin texas Museum of east texasThis year’s Festival of Trees promises to be spectacular, as always. Over 150 trees have been lovingly decorated with its own theme and message and trees are sponsored by individuals and businesses in the community. Tree themes range from collegiate and high schools to professions, from traditional Santas and candy canes to an upside down tree. The display is a feast for the eyes that will delight all ages and trees range in size from 4 to 12 feet tall. Cameras are welcome.

Admission is free and the funds raised from the tree sponsors are used for children’s Art Camp scholarships and special gifts to the Museum.

Tree Hours
Monday through Friday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday: 1 to 5 p.m.
Extended Hours: December 19-23 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.
Closed Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
